Due to COVID-19 rates some birthing facilities have restricted visitation including additional support persons for labor and delivery. Therefore, in some facilities doula support and partner support is prohibited. If your birthing facility is not allowing more than 1 support person during labor and delivery we offer virtual birth support. Virtual support includes timely check ins via phone calls, text messages and video calls or a continuous live video feed. 

Before having a home birth and/or receiving in home support before transferring to a birthing facility, Birth & Milk Co requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The test must be taken after the birthing person reaches the gestational age of 38 weeks. 

If you are positive for COVID-19 all services will be provided virtually until proof of a negative COVID-19 test has been provided.
